Acupuncture is a natural way to heal.
The human body is made up of your mind, body, and spirit. When all three are working together, there is a free flow of energy within our bodies, which is optimal. Acupuncture is wonderful for facilitating this!
Acupuncture is an effective form of medical care that is based on thousands of years of research, theory, practice, and is known for it's varying positive effects for people, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
People seek acupuncture for a variety of reasons including: fatigue, stress, pain, mental health, Postpartum Depression, insufficient lactation, digestive health, general health and wellbeing, anxiety, neuropathy, inflammation, headaches, and PTSD, just to name a few.
Treatments involve the gentle insertion of very thin needles (approximately a hair's width) as well as other modalities such as cupping and moxibustion.
Each treatment is individually tailored to your specific needs and goals at that time.
The number of treatments you will need is specific to your history and goals. General recommendation is 6-8 weekly treatments and then future frequency will be discussed as you progress.
Insurance is not accepted, however, a receipt will be provided, for you to submit to your insurance company, upon request.

WHY SEEK ACUPUNCTURE?
Acupuncture, Microneedling, Cupping, Moxibustion
Follow-up sessions are about 45 minutes to 1hr. We will discuss how you felt after the past treatment and any new goals you have going forward.
Your first session is approximately 1hr in length, and consists of a discussion that includes your health history, which allows me to understand your particular situation and how to best help you meet your desired goals. The initial session begin with our discussion and will end with a treatment. This treatment is designed to clear blockages allowing energy to flow more freely, allowing you to feel light and clear, and prepares you for future treatments.
Microneedling is a safe, natural, holistic alternative for resurfacing the skin without using surgery, injections, or harsh chemicals.
It is safe for all skin types. There are however some contraindications to receiving a treatment, so talk to your practitioner prior to your first treatment.
Microneedling requires 1 treatment every 4weeks for 4-5 rounds depending. These treatments provide optimal results to improve skin health, decreases lines and wrinkles, shrinks large pores, smooths pigmentation, and overall skin appearance naturally by increasing collagen and elastin production.
Cupping is when a licensed therapist applies special cups on your skin. The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen tight muscles, increase healthy blood flow, and calm the nervous system. Cupping can be used as a standalone treatment, but it can also be combined with acupuncture in one treatment. The combination helps to provide pain and stress relief.
Moxibustion is the use of the herb Mugwort (artesmisia vulgaris). Mugwort is known to activate and warm the meridians prior to acupuncture. This wonderful herb helps to settle the nervous system, support digestion, as well as relieve pain and discomfort.
Happiness is not determined by what's happening around you, but rather by what is happening inside you. Most people depend on others to gain happiness, but the truth is, it comes from within. ~John Spence
These hydrosols and salve are available on Etsy on my shop El and Mari
Hydrosols are also called "Flower water" / "Herbal Water".
They are made by distilling fresh and dried flowers, herbs, and other plant materials through a process called hydrodistillation.
They help to hydrate, cool, soothe, and nourish your skin. And because they are made with delightful plants, they also double as aromatherapy.
Hydrosols are great for spritzing on after a shower and before applying your serum/moisturizer, as well as a refreshing and hydrating spray after a day on the beach, hiking, or whichever activity you love doing. They can also be used to reconstitute clay masks prior to application.
All of the products are made, with love, in Asheville, NC
