WHAT WILL MY FIRST SESSION BE LIKE?

Your first session is approximately 1hour in length and consists of a discussion that includes a thorough patient history as well as your desired goals for treatment.
We will end with a treatment that is intended to introduce your body to acupuncture, begin to address your intended goals, and allow energy to flow more freely.

DOES ACUPUNCTURE HURT?

No, acupuncture does not hurt. Very thin needles are used, approximately a hair's width, and they are inserted gently and painlessly.

Anywhere between 8-10 treatments. However, most people notice a difference after the first couple of treatments.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED BEFORE I NOTICE RESULTS?

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

WHAT DOES A TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?

Many people describe the treatment feeling like gentle abrasion like when exfoliating.

WHERE ON THE BODY IS A TREATMENT TYPICALLY DONE?

Face, neck, and chest/décolletage area.

IS THERE ANY REASON I COULDN'T RECEIVE A MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT?

Yes. Contraindications include:

-Pregnancy

-Keloid scars

-Active acne

-Current skin infection

-Warts

-Moderate to severe chronic skin conditions such as eczema, herpes zoster, and psoriasis

-Anticoagulant therapy

-Currently receiving chemotherapy and or radiation

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY FIRST TREATMENT

-There will be paperwork to fill out at your first appointment.

-You will lay on the treatment table and get comfortable.

-The process will be explained to you and you may ask any questions you have.

-The area being treated will be cleaned and prepped.

-You will have your microneedling treatment.

-A cool aloe mask will be applied and you will rest for about 10 minutes and after that you will be given your post treatment instructions.

-Then you are all set to go and enjoy the rest of your day.

OTHER POINTS TO MAKE NOTE OF:

-You will have 1 treatment every 4weeks.

-Treatments take about 40-50 minutes in total.

-You will see results after 4 treatments and will notice some results about 3 weeks after the first treatment. This is because the treatments build upon one another

-Skin will have a “sunburned” feel for 12-24 hours post treatment. It may have redness, feel tight, a bit dry, and warm. This is normal.)

-No oil application to the treated area for 24 hours post treatment.

-You will be sent home with a small container of apple stem cell serum to apply at home. You may apply hyaluronic acid as needed post treatment.

-If you have any questions please notify your practitioner.

-Treatments last for 3-5 years.

-Minimum of 4 treatments is recommended with a Maximum of 6 treatments
